What guidelines should be followed in order to carry out a good scan?

During the examination, the patient must lie on their back, with their arms alongside their body. The CT scan must be carried out on the whole chest. Medical tomography, with CT filter or mediastinum, in order to obtain good contrasts.

To whom should the patient data and prescription be sent?

The surgeon sends the CD of the scan, along with the prescription, by post to the Service administration des ventes de GROUPPE SEBBIN - 39, Parc d’Activités des Quatre Vents - 95650 Boissy l’Aillerie – France

What are the stages prior to manufacture of the implant?

Once the quality of the information has been validated, the Sebbin group will send a quote to the surgeon. This quote must be signed and returned, accompanied by a deposit, in order to begin designing the implant. A dossier of specifications will then be sent to the surgeon. The surgeon must validate these specifications in order for manufacture of the implant to be commenced.

What is the manufacturing time?

The time frame for receiving the final implant, from receipt of the signed quote and payment of the deposit, is 2 months (subject to validation of the implant design and the period specified).

What material is the implant made from? How hard-wearing is the implant?

The implant is made from polymerised silicone and it is both resistant and unbreakable. The hard-wearing nature of the implant is akin to a Shore 20 Type AA material.

Where must the implant be placed?

In the case of Pectus Excavatum, the implant must be placed in a sub muscular position, beneath the membrane of the rectus abdominal muscle.

With regard to Poland Syndrome and other muscle deficiencies, the implant must be placed beneath the skin.

How do you become a referral surgeon?
