The 2023 “Ambroise Paré” distinction was awarded to Pr. Chavoin

The 2023 “Ambroise Paré” distinction was awarded to Pr. Jean-Pierre Chavoin last 13th of December, by the French National Academy of Surgery. This price rewarded the utility and innovation of his work about the use of 3D custom-made implants to treat physical deformities.

Pr. Chavoin was head of the plastic surgery dept. at Toulouse University Hospital and General Secretary of the French Society of Plastic Surgery for more than 14 years. He is currently President of AnatomikModeling.
