I’m so happy with the implant. I feel a lot more confident and booking some holidays this year which I’m looking forward to. It totally changed my life so I can’t thank you enough (directed to Dr Joel Dunning).

Allan, Middlesbrough (UK)

I am a 20 years old boy who underwent at the age of 12 an operation to correct my Pectus Excavatum. Prof. Messineo of the Meyer Hospital of Florence conducted it throught the Nuss technique. Three years later they removed the Nuss bar, but as my defect was still very pronounced, they had to perform a review with a 3D implant that perfectly corrected it. Over time, the scar has almost disappeared. I am very satisfied with the result and I thank Dr. Messineo, Dr. Facchini and Prof. Jean Pierre Chavoin who have done an exceptional job.

Vito, Firenze (Italy)

One year after the procedure everything is fine, no pain, the scar has almost disappeared. I thank Professor Chavoin for everything. This Summer 2018 I wore my first bikini, I feel now blossomed, beautiful and "normal". Professor Chavoin has changed my life and his meeting will remain a beautiful meeting. THANK YOU.

I am satisfied with the result of my pectus surgery, the scar is disappearing gradually, I feel better in my body and I can be shirtless without being afraid of others look.

Frédéric, 44 years old, Limoges (France)

Before the operation I was self-conscious about taking my shirt off in public or doing any water based activities. I said to my dad I would like to see if there is anything out there that can fix my chest. After looking at various surgery’s I was more interested in just a cosmetic fix. That’s when my dad found this solution on internet. The surgeon explained the surgery very well and was happy to answer any questions we had. On the day of the surgery, he made sure I was okay beforehand and after. The surgery went well. He could not help us enough. I have healed fast and the results are fantastic.

Edward, 19 years old, West Yorkshire (UK)

I decided to undergo surgery for my pectus excavatum for aesthetic reasons, where the best option seemed to be a chest implant to conceal this malformation, which I went ahead with. The postoperative stage only lasted 3 days during which I was admitted with mild pain in the chest when making sudden movements. I am very happy with the results and my problem was resolved, and I only noticed a little less sensitivity around the implant area 4 months since the operation. Everything went as expected and I have been very satisfied with the result.

Mateo, 17 years old, Madrid (Spain)

I was becoming withdrawn because of this malformation, this is the reason why I wanted to change something among the past years. I already underwent a Nuss procedure and a Macrolane injection. None of these satisfied me, so I decided to go for the implant. I accepted it really well and I could gently go back to my daily activities after 3 to 4 weeks. I am really satisfied with the result. This intervention brought me a new love of life and a lot of confidence in myself when I am shirtless.

Christian, 21 years old, Bonn (Germany)

I no longer have to worry about showing my chest. I can go to the beach, the swimming pool and so on. I have even just finished a thermal cure. I had refused to do any of those things before the procedure for my Pectus Excavatum. The scar has become practically invisible and the implant is barely noticeable. The only thing I regret is that it has taken 65 years to live with confidence. But hey, better late than never.

Claude, 65 years old, Soustons (France)

I have asymmetric Pectus Excavatum. I was told by a specialist in Bordeaux that the Nuss technique seemed to be the best one to go for. The first procedure caused me a lot of suffering and the aesthetic result did not live up to my expectations. Several months following the procedure, the bar had moved practically into the upright position. I underwent an emergency surgery to reposition the Nuss bar, but it kept moving. A year later, I could still feel pain, but the prevailing sensation was one of discomfort and I had another operation to remove the bar. The Pectus Excavatum ended up not being resolved. I heard about a specialist in Toulouse that uses custom-made prostheses. I decided to take the plunge and I was only three or four days in hospital. I had only a little postoperative pain and only suffered two punctures (painless). I felt no discomfort and I recovered very quickly. The aesthetic results are excellent and visible since my operation. The scar is very fine and almost invisible a few months later. Later on, I decided to broaden my horizons and to start playing sport again. I'm back to life!

Melissa, 19 years old, Charente-Maritime (France)

I am fully satisfied with my operation. I had considered traditional techniques before to correct my pectus excavatum. But I had never made the leap because the procedures were too invasive.  So when I heard about the custom implant technique, I quickly made the decision. The implant insertion is not very invasive. Post-operative is a bit hard for the first week, but after that, I quickly got on with my life. The result is perfect and I have no more worries about being bare-chested. I recommend the technique!

Adrien, 24 years old, Rennes

I underwent surgery to correct my pectus excavatum. I found it a bit painful, however, I don’t regret it and I am completely satisfied with the result. I was always questioning myself. I had a lot of complexes, I didn’t even dare to wear a swimsuit! Thanks to this surgery, I feel much better, without this persistent uneasiness. If you also have this problem, don’t hesitate, go for it!!!

Celia, 31 years old, Vianne

I had a really tough time living with Pectus Excavatum, especially from a psychological perspective. I lacked self-confidence and I never dared to look at myself in the mirror. The operation went really well. The pain was bearable and I was able to resume my normal way of life very quickly. I am very pleased with the result. I was really worried that I would be able to feel the prosthesis, but this is not the case at all. The scar is even quite pretty. Now I feel brave enough to wear a swimsuit and I am able to choose the clothes I Iike more easily. I no longer have any complexes.

Ophélie, 16 years old, Albi

Before the surgery, I had a lot of complexes, because the hollow in my chest was so deep, that my breasts were not protruding. I heard about a treatment using plates and screws, which involved breaking the breastbone. But it was out of the question to undergo that. Then they advised me of the chest implant procedure. I am totally satisfied, so much that I asked for additional breast soft implants two years after. The two operations allowed me to lose my complexes and to feel like a ‘normal’ woman, with real breasts.

Mélanie, 35 years old, Orléans

Having always practised various sports at a good level, I never imagined that I would undergo a huge procedure. After many searches on the Internet, I found the 3D customised reconstruction solution. The result is satisfactory and I will have no embarrassment from now on, allowing me to gradually resume sports competitions.
